A bus with more than 30 passengers entered the sugarcane field!

The incident took place near Tallur village of Yaragatti taluk of the district when the KSRTC bus broke into a sugarcane field due to brake failure.

The incident took place when the government bus was leaving from Somapur village to Tallura village. Fortunately, more than 30 passengers in the bus escaped with their lives.

As the brake of the bus failed, the bus collided with the bike parked on the side of the road and the bus entered the sugarcane field of Pakali in Tallur village. Fortunately, a major disaster was avoided.

Some passengers including the driver sustained minor injuries. Locals have admitted the injured to Yaragatti Taluk Hospital.

Muragoda police officers visited the incident site and conducted an investigation.
